If you have never breathed underwater before, the first question is usually the same: what actually happens on the day? Here is the whole morning, start to finish.
You do not need any experience
Our beginner level dive is built for people trying scuba for the first time. You get equipment training, a safety briefing, and an experienced instructor with you in the water. The minimum age is 8 years, and you do not need a certification of any kind.
The morning, hour by hour
- 6:30 AM – 6:45 AM — Report at Centre. Report at the Dive Adda centre to complete the necessary formalities before starting your scuba diving experience.
- 6:45 AM – 7:15 AM — Equipment & Dive Briefing. Join our classroom briefing to learn about your scuba diving equipment, safety procedures and dive plan. Our team will help you understand your gear and the important instructions you need to follow for a safe and enjoyable underwater experience.
- 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM — Travel to the Dive Site. Travel to the beach, where the boat will be loaded before heading to the dive site. After a short 10–15 minute boat ride, you’ll reach the dive site and begin your underwater experience accompanied by a professional diving instructor.
- About 40 minutes per person — Your Dive. Each scuba diving session lasts approximately 40 minutes per person, reaching a maximum depth of 6–8 metres.
- 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM — Return to Beach & Centre. After returning, your scuba diving pictures and video will be transferred to you at the centre. If the transfer is not possible at the centre, they will be shared online.
