Who we are
Dive Adda (“we”, “us”) operates this website and runs scuba diving, SSI training and water activities in Visakhapatnam and Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Information we collect
- Enquiries and bookings: when you use our enquiry form or booking assistant we collect your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address (optional), preferred location, experience or course, preferred date, number of guests and any message you write.
- When you contact us directly by phone, WhatsApp or Instagram, we receive the information you choose to share.
- For your activity: details needed to complete formalities before diving, which may include health information relevant to your safety (for example, a physician’s approval for a medical condition).
- Photos and videos taken during your experience.
- On your device: this site remembers your light or dark theme choice and whether you have already seen the intro animation, using your browser’s storage. This stays on your device.
How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and confirm, manage or change bookings
- To keep you safe before, during and after your activity
- To share the photos and video from your experience with you
- To improve our services
We do not sell your personal information.
Where it is stored and who we share it with
Enquiries submitted through this website are stored using Google Firebase. If you choose to continue on WhatsApp, your message is handled by WhatsApp.
This website loads fonts, maps, script libraries and some images from third-party services (such as Google Fonts, Esri map tiles and public content networks). As with any website, these services receive your IP address when your browser requests their files.
We may disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, or as required by law.

Children
Some of our activities are available from 8 years of age. Bookings for guests under 18 should be made by a parent or guardian.
